Each year 5th graders attend the Soil and Water Conservation Fall Field Days held at the Edwin McGee Conservation Center. While there they learn about conservation, animals, ecosystems and so much more.  They learn about a poster contest that allows them to show what they have learned and share it with others.  Three winners are chosen and sent to the county level.  One is then chosen by the conservation district and the winner is invited to an awards banquet in March.
