Carline Guidelines

Our morning carline will run from 7:15-7:50 am.  A staff member will greet families in the car line each morning and will open car doors and assist students as they exit the car. Students arriving before 7:30 am should walk up the walkway to enter school, pick up breakfast, and go directly to the media center. Students arriving from 7:30-7:50 am will walk up the walkway, enter the building, pick up breakfast and report to their classroom. Students who arrive after the 7:50 bell must be accompanied by their adult to be signed in at the office as tardy.

Afternoon car line will begin as soon as the instructional day ends at 3:05pm and afternoon announcements are over. Parents should display their TES  car line tag on the mirror or dash to help facilitate dismissal. Car riders will be escorted to the media center by their teachers, will be supervised by staff, and will wait to be called by name to walk to a named staff member on car line. If parents arrive after the car line ends, they must park and come to the office to pick up the child.

Car line speed limit is 10mph. The safety of students, staff, and visitors to our campus is our top priority. We would rather raise money for something the students would enjoy than to pay for a speed bump. Please do not make it necessary.

Car line is a “no passing zone.”

Staff members are not allowed to secure your child in their restraint system due to liability reasons. We provide a spot for parents to pull over and put their student(s) in proper/legal automobile restraints.
