Good Morning Wildcats family! Welcome to WTES morning broadcast. I'm Faith. I'm Emily. Today is WEDNESDAY, February 15, 2023. It is the 98th day of our school year and day 2 of our Rotation, Art & Recess! Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance: Attention, Salute, Pledge. I pledge allegiance to the flag Of the United States of America And to the Republic for which it stands One Nation . under GOD, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all. Please remain standing for the moment of silence Thank you. You may be seated. And now we will go to Eli for our local weather forecast. Today’s weather will be similar to yesterday with highs in the low-60s. Our temperatures will remain in the low to mid 60s for the remainder of the week. Now we will turn it over to Davian for the community announcements. Hello everyone! It may be warm outside, but the south pole has taken over our school! This week we will continue our One School, One Read of Mr. Popper’s Penguins. Recordings of the book chapters can be found on Class Dojo and the Traphill Elementary School website. There will be Pre-K screening at Traphill Elementary on February 27. Interested parents should call Ms. Kendall for an appointment. Congratulations to Ryan and Sophia for earning Honorable Mention at the science fair. Congratulations to our boys basketball team for their outstanding season. We would like to thank Mr. Gary for his dedication to our team. There is no school on Friday, February 17 and Monday, February 20. There are no birthdays on the calendar for today! Hello my name is Adrian and I am reporting live from the school store. We want to announce our word club leaders. Congratulations to Sophia, Eli, Robert and Ryan. Next Mrs Gentry has created a new incentives for the AR store. Students will earn bonus points each time they move up on the train tracks so read those books and take those AR tests! Today's lunch entree is turkey and gravy. Thank you and have a great day!
